Trinity Cathedral, Yagotin
Holy Trinity Church - an architectural jewel of the city Yagotin and all Ukraine. In 1757 it became a possession Yagotin Kirill Razumovsky, the last Hetman of Ukraine. After the abolition of Hetman Count moved here and started city beautification. In the city center, its main square, with the help and funding Razumovsky, in 1800 was built Holy Trinity Cathedral.
A distinctive feature of the church - it is made in the form of a rotunda, which is not typical for Orthodox churches. These temples are more common in pagan culture of the sun. In 1936 the church was completely destroyed, and many religious objects of the time.
Since gaining independence Ukraine entered into force program to restore the temple as a monument of architecture. However, it takes longer for 18 years.
