Cathedral of St. Nicholas, Kremenets
The first church, which later became the cathedral of St. Nicholas, mentioned in 1538 in the city of Kremenets . At the time, it was wooden and had the name of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin.
In 1606, at the Church of the monks of the Franciscan order settled. In the first half of the 17th century there was already a monastery. In 1631, instead of a wooden built a stone church in the Renaissance style. Cathedral of St. Nicholas is one of the oldest in Kremenets existing Orthodox churches.
