History Museum in the city Kremenets Ternopil region was opened in 1937 at the high schools. He is now located in the central part of the building, which previously housed the seminary. The main decoration of this asymmetric two-storey building, covered with gray plaster, are large semi-circular windows and thin white embossed ridges around them.
The museum is located in 10 rooms. Of greatest interest to visitors are the exhibits that were collected at the beginning of the opening of the institution. This local history museum is on the list of the largest museums in the region. The number of the exhibits has more than 65 thousand in the same storage is another 1,500 valuable items.
In the halls of the items presented the historical past and contemporary life. The museum found during archaeological excavations everyday objects and works of folk crafts. Here you can see personal belongings and creative works of the Polish poet Juliusz Slovak and exhibits that show the arrival in 1846 in the area Kremenetskiy Taras Shevchenko.
The museum is accessible to all visitors on weekdays and weekends from 10:00 to 16:30, except Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
