Castle Kontskih

The castle was built by Polish nobles Kontskimi in 1639 in the village of Kryvche Ternopil region. In the 17th century it played a role defensist. Castle and then changed hands conquerors. After the merger, skirts and the Commonwealth lost his defencist status and became the seat of the powerful serve of the Polish gentry Goleevskih. As unnecessary at this time were covered with defensive ditches, walls are reduced.
In the 19th century the castle became the property of a Jewish businessman L. Zeidman, ordered to spread out on the lock gates of the building. Dismantled materials went to the construction of the distillery.
The ruins of the castle changed owners several times, but none of them did not bother to make the restoration of the old buildings, to breathe new life into it. In the 20th century ruins of Podolsk took possession of tourist and local lore society. The remains of the castle were somehow restored and preserved. In the 50-ies. while paving the road was pulled another piece of defensive walls. In the 90 years of the ruins of the castle were re-suspended.
We have survived two towers and part of the defensive wall. Access to them is free.
