Church of St. Stanislaus
The first religious building of the city Zalishchyky became the church of St. Stanislaus. S. Poniatowski temple founded in 1763. First church was built of wood and only in the early 19th century in its place erected a stone church. The interior of the temple was decorated with magnificent frescoes with scenes from the life of St. Stanislaus. Some time at the church acted monastery, as on both sides of the church are the cell.
In the 40s of the 20th century, the Soviet authorities issued a decree to close the church. Temple property looted and empty territory turned into a salt warehouse. Salt has left its mark on the walls of the building, but could not damage the coat of arms of the family Poniatowski placed over the doors of the church.
In 1991, the temple doors opened again. Roman Catholic Diocese, who returned the church, conducted restoration work and returned temple fitting look.
