History Zalischyky
Zalischyky current territory was inhabited by people from time immemorial. The first record of a settlement belonging to 1340, while it was the property of the Polish king. In 1469 the village Zalesye vysilok emerged as the lands of the village Dobryvliany. Later, in 1750, the settlement received city status and a new name - Old Zalischyky. And 16 years later the city was granted Magdeburg rights.
