Memorial Museum-Estate Kurbas

In the village of Old Skalat Ternopil region on the hilly slopes of the reserve "Medobory"   is a memorial museum-estate Kurbas. Opened its winter 1987. Location of the museum chosen by chance. Exactly   here February 25, 1887 was born Kurbas - one of the most famous Ukrainian directors and playwrights Ukraine.

The exhibits of the museum-estate located in five rooms of family estates. Each of them carries a unique atmosphere of those times. All belong to a certain style of exposure and time pieces L. Kurbasa life.

In the first room of the museum visitors opened its first tentative steps Kurbas in theater arts. The exposition of the second room represents the creative period during their stay in Kiev , the third - especially Kharkiv segment in the work of the famous director. The exhibition in the fifth room is dedicated Regional Drama Theatre Ternopil .
