Stupkovske source

In Ukraine there are many sources of water are considered curative. The objectives of pilgrims come to these places to drink holy water and heal from disease. Not far from the Ternopil is a hydrological monument of nature - Stupkivske source.

Stupkivske source downward. The water is delicious, clean and cold. Sometimes people come here for water, which is used for cooking. With source originates stream, which flows into the river Grozny rot.

The area around Stupkivskoho ennobled source: track lined with stone and artificial hills with four taps flowing water. Nearby is the Chapel of Our Lady. Near grow acacia. The area has become such an appearance in 2009 thanks to philanthropist and entrepreneur Stepan Hyryli.

Legend Source

According to legend, when the pilgrims came from Ternopil to Zbarazh , they "walked" to the source to drink water. Hence the name of the neighboring village Stupka .

How to get there

By Stupok can be reached by bus from Ternopil bus number 2 on the street Bilohirsk 1. Go towards the need Pidvolochysk . Near the village there is a railway station Self-Large. It only stops the train from Ternopil, Zboriv and Volochysk .

Stupkivske source is 200 meters from the E50 motorway, the so-called Pidvolochysk highway.
