House of the merchant Krol

In Nikolaev a lot of old buildings that can be safely called architectural monuments. Many of them are in ruins, others still benefit the residents of the city.

House of the merchant Kroll - one of the most luxurious buildings in the city. The owner - Chaim Krol, came here from Kremenchug. As new trade routes, Nikolaev fits perfectly. In 1899, he became the owner of the house, but to live here a long life he was not destined. Already in 1904, the building housed Bessarabia, Taurian land bank.

The house itself and today impresses with its gorgeous view. Complex moldings adorn the entire facade of the two-story mansion. It combines several styles: Baroque and classical. This gives the building a unique appearance. This house is worthy of kings!
