History places

District Local History Museum is located in a historic building in the center Dunaevcy. It was founded in November 1986.

Now this is a research and educational institution, fulfilling the role of the center of cultural life and area. The museum is the communal property of the district council. Its visitors can get acquainted with the cultural heritage and historic achievements, but also see the architectural monuments of the region.

Exhibits Museum of Local Lore

The museum exhibits more than 3,000. There is a permanent exhibition telling the story of the city and the entire region Dunaevcy.

The museum exposition, reflecting:

archaeological sites;
life and traditions of the province`s population;
crafts of local residents;
Dunaevcy history of the city;
During the Second World War;
Vladislav Zaremba life - outstanding local resident.

Also on display an exhibition of icons and paintings. Employees of the museum collection is constantly replenished.
