Archaeological Museum, Chyhyryn
In Chyhyryn is National Historical and Cultural Reserve "Chigirin" , in whose territory the historical and archaeological sites of different times. It is composed of more than eighteen divisions, one of which is an archaeological museum.
One-story building under the green tiles belonging to the museum, was built in the early 20th century and has recently been refurbished. Museum is located in the immediate vicinity of the park named after Taras Shevchenko. In its exhibition halls you can see the way of life and a variety of tools and self-defense of the population, lived in the Dnieper River. Also present jewelry, armor and a weapon of Scythian times. They were found in the settlement of the Scythians on the site of modern Cold Ravine . Next to the museum is a monument to Vladimir Lenin, transferred here from Castle Hill .
The Archaeological Museum is open to visitors year-round. The ticket price is quite symbolic. The premises of the museum is not too Overall, therefore tourists pass through the halls of not more than 20 people.
