Church of the Ascension, Lyucha
Mountain village Lyucha , the surviving written documents, it is known from 1438 year. Perhaps the main attraction of it - survived to the present day Church of the Ascension and bell tower, built in 1848. This shrine is considered the finest example of Hutsul wooden folk architecture.

The history of the emergence of the church in the village. It has become a reality, thanks to the resourcefulness and wit of locals and even formed the basis for several Hutsul tales. Building permit its villagers asked immediately after the uprising against the Polish gentry. But we do not get it. The main condition of the master said, is that construction will begin only after 25 years after the signing. He considered that the villagers merely lost documents and forget about it. But to his surprise, after due time people presented him the paper. He agreed, but only allowed to build a temple on the outskirts, in the hope that construction will be delayed for many years. But the money had already been collected for a long time, and a year later the building was ready.
Cross in terms of the church has one dome. It was built of wood. By the eastern part of the building adjacent rectangular low rise building. Centre temple dome is covered in a tent on a small octagon overlooking half of its height above the sloping roofs of branches topped onion-domed. Choirs with the original design of the device side niches, based on two pillars. The temple walls are decorated with oil paintings of the 19th century. Single storey bell tower is made of brick, it stands on a high base.
