Landscape reserve "Zamglai"

Landscape reserve "Zamglay" was created in 2000. This is one of the largest marsh system in Ukraine. At present the reserve was located was once marshy valley of the Dnieper.

Scientists distinguish such bogs in the reserve North Zamglay, Zamglay South, Central and Zamglay of Paris.

In the common sedge Omsk and sytechkovydna that grow in wetlands. Here too there are plants like rozmarynoslysta and blackish willow, willow Stark, birch low Platanthera bifolia. They are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine. Also, the array can be found one relict species - ophioglossum usual.

Before animals are protected by the Red Book of Ukraine are: black stork, gray crane, zmiyeyid and ferruginous duck.

The main problem is poaching, because the landscape reserve "Zamglay" almost not protected.

Near the town of Zamglay is known among fishermen career. Pull from here you can Zamglay or village Burivka .

How to get to the reserve

Landscape reserve "Zamglay" Ripky located in the district of Chernihiv region near the town Zamglay and villages Half .

Reserve is located 40 kilometers north of Chernigov . E95 highway should go back to the village and Ripky , then go to Zamglay.
