Heart Lake, Oleshnya

History of Heart Lake

The name of the azure lake was due to the fact that a shape of a heart. In itself, the lake appeared as a result of flooding of the old sand quarries, which was mined raw materials for the manufacture of glass. The shape of the heart was not so noticeable, but when the quarry filled with water, the locals could not deny the obvious similarities.
