Church of the Intercession, Obarzym

The small and picturesque village is located near Obara Exactly. These lands are famous for lots of ancient churches and temples, pereterpevshih destruction during the war, restored and currently in force. A striking example serve as a Church of the Intercession in Obarove.

History of the temple

Wooden Pokrovskaya church was built in the late 18th century, in 1781. At about the same time to the temple and built a tower. The original structure with a bell tower was covered with boards, then compacted and built the walls yet another extension of the brick, so that authentic look not preserved.

Exterior
