We started to build a church of Alexander Nevsky in 1824 and until 1874. The temple was built with the assistance of Bishop Stephen Volyn Romanovsky. Four years later, construction stopped. The reasons were two: the transfer of the bishop to the Diocese of Vologda and lack of funds. So vymuruvaly temple just to window overlap.

In 1867, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Empire approved a new plan for the completion of the church. The construction contributed nearly 16 000. Already in Radivilov started looking for builders, but none on the proposal disagreed. It turns out that the estimate was compiled from the lowest prices in 40 years and not one collapsed wooden fence around the church walls, scaffolding collapsed. Agreed to help the then owner Radyvylova, state councilor Popov, who was a member of the Brotherhood of Alexander Nevsky.

However, in 1871 there was another incident. It turned out that Alexander Nevsky church is not built according to plan and that it is larger than expected. Hired a new architect Alexey Skuratov.

September 15, 1874 Alexander Nevsky church in Radivilov was solemnly consecrated archbishop of Volyn and Zhytomyr Agafangel.
