In the reserve "Cossack graves" in Plyasheva stands the church of St. George, which no analogues in the world.

George Church History

The uniqueness of the St. George church is that under one roof are three churches:

  • George (main);
  • "Balcony church" Boris and Gleb (located on the second floor);
  • and an underground church Paraskeva.

The idea to build on the site of the Battle of Brest church dates back to 1908, when the island was Zhuravlyha first official commemoration of the fallen Cossacks. Finally restored church of St. George in 2002. The prayers of monks were heard again in the walls of the temple.

How to get to church

Plyasheva village located on the border of Rivne and Volyn regions. More or less decent road leading to Plyasheva with Brody . With Dubno , Lutsk and Demidovka way, frankly, not very good. By Plyasheva can be reached by bus from Demidovka.

St George`s is on the reserve "Field Berestechko battle" near the river Plyashivky.
