Museum of Textiles in Grand Shores

In every village there are several surviving objects from a bygone era. In Great Shores in Transcarpathia decided that such things should not be dust in attics of old houses, and prefer to collect them and put on public display. It all started with the fact that students were asked to bring antiques, which were used in the household of their ancestors. This idea was developed, and the number of exhibits was gradually increased.
Today it presents a variety of irons, running on coal, clay pots and other things used in the weaving business. There is also a collection of embroidery on linen, whose age is more than a hundred years. The greatest pride of the museum are considered old spindles and looms. Work schoolgirls played on these machines, it is not only the heritage museum, but also exhibited at various exhibitions in the cities of Hungary, Slovakia and Poland.
