Settlement Yeni-Dunya
Hillfort Yeni Dunya - the most important historical archaeological site discovered in the 20th century and studied by scientists to this day. Interesting relics were found not far from the Turkish medieval settlement known as "Hadzhibey." Here since the 14th century a Turkish port (on the site of the modern Odessa) - the central point of sale Turkey with neighboring empires.
Given the popularity of the port on Hadzhibey often attacked the warring powers, so that was built in 1764. The castle fortress Yeni Dunya (in Turkish "New World"). It was a whole town with its own infrastructure, water supply and the large number of land. The high walls and watchtowers allowed sentinel survey tens of kilometers around. But in 1789 he was captured by Russian troops, greatly damaging the structure of the fortress.
