German Evangelical Lutheran church, Velykodolynske

Evangelical Lutheran church was built in 1848, in this village Velikodolinskoe. His unusual history of German settlement is obliged to the community, which has been formed here since 1804 (then called area Grosslibental). Moved German colonists were Evangelical Lutheran views on religion, soon we decided to build a large temple for their worship.
The resulting structure was a delightful architecture with a tall bell tower, internal arches, two tiers for choral singing, beautiful murals and iconostasis. It defies the imagination octagonal design of columns, and the bell tower was himself tallest structure around Grosslibental.
After all revolutions, world wars and the Soviet period, the church was handed over to the local patriarchy. In 1993 it was decided to restore, restoring, after several decades of misuse. As a consequence, it has been completely redesigned architecture of the legendary churches, as well as its interior decor and all the spectacular beauty of the exterior.
