St Nicholas Church

St. Nicholas Church is located in   Belgorod-Dniester in the Odessa region. This church is quite old, it is still built in 1867. Money allocated for its construction one of the residents of the city - Gerasimos Ovchinnikov. Appearance of the temple has not changed since it was built, there were no changes saved all the details of its design.   The interior of the church, discreet, there is painted on the facades, and its hallmark is simplicity of finishing in the traditional local style. All the paintings in this temple has a modern, there are images of famous icons ("Trinity", "Vernicle", "Panagia" and others), martyrs and saints who were canonized by the church.   The temple is not very large, but interesting and original.

Near the church you can see Alexander Mariinsky compassionate shelter together with the hospital, which was built in the same year as the temple.

Belgorod-Dniester - a city rich in different places, and St. Nicholas Church takes its rightful place among them.
