Mountain Dunavka

Dunavka Mountain - the highest point of the mountain range Vihorlat Bruise-Gutinskogo volcanic ridge of the Ukrainian Carpathians. Dunavka located on the right bank of the river Latorica Svalyava district, Transcarpathian region.

Up to an altitude of 600 m mainly dominated by mixed deciduous forests: oak-hornbeam and oak-beech. Just above the beech forest with a small admixture of conifers. At the top of the mountain there are ancient pines.

In the picturesque surroundings of mountains Dunavka at altitudes of 800-900 m originate pure voiced mountain streams: Meadow, which flows into the surrounding fields to the Grand-Pynyu and Matekova which, flowing through bruises, falls into Latoritsa.

Mountain Dunavka located near the famous far beyond Ukraine klimatobalneologicheskimi resorts: Bruise and the Carpathians, in the vicinity of villages and bruise Apiary Mukachevo district; Polyana, Sunny Transcarpathia and Sunny in the village of Polyana Svalyava district.
