Berdichevsky Historical Museum

Historical Museum is located in   Berdichev (Zhytomyr region). Its location - a wing of the monastery of the Discalced Carmelites, in the past it was a vicarage. The museum was opened in the autumn of 1926.

City History Museum in Berdichev has 7 exhibition halls dedicated to different topics. Among them, the city hall with exhibits of history, a hall dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War, etc. Tour of the museum goes accompanied by a guide.

Not far from the museum is a huge mass grave in which the murdered Jews during the war. The museum is dedicated to the theme of this tragic set of exhibits and exhibitions. The events of those times, covered in photographs, documentary literature, archival materials.
