Museum roundhouse, Korosten

Museum locomotive depot is located in Korosten   at the station, whose construction dates back to 1902. The museum is dedicated to the history of the origin and development of railway transport,   as well as the Kiev-Kovel direction railway.

The museum`s collection of artifacts were collected on the initiative and thanks to the efforts of employees depot. The role of exposure plays a pretty big set of premises for production purposes. Their construction took place at different times, so they are representatives of several eras of development of rail transport.

Today   Korosten is the honorary title of "railway capital" of the region, as this junction is one of the most important in the country.

Railway Museum in Korosten visited by numerous tourists not only from Ukraine, but also from other countries. Here art lovers can not only get acquainted with interesting exhibits, but also ride on a steam train rarity of the 20th century along the route Korosten - Zhitomir - Kiev - Korosten.
