Lake Nesamovyte

The lake is located on Mount Nesamovite Turkul on its south - eastern slopes. Mount is easy to find in the Carpathian National Park, Ivano-Frankivsk region. Turkula height is 1933 meters above sea level. This is one of the highest peaks in the area. The lake is located just below, at an altitude of 1750 meters.
Its origin is glacial, connected with the movement of glacial formations of rocks. Its decay products can still be seen on the banks of Nesamovyte. Depth alpine lake only 1 meter with a little. These values allow the water freeze solid in winter and warm in summer to 20 degrees. An interesting fact is that a large area of the lake, almost 4,000 square meters - is the formation of the accumulation of annual precipitation. It is not fed any of the rivers (due to his considerable height), but rather nourishes itself on Turkul mountain streams.
Tableau Nesamovyte annually attracts crowds of tourists from around the world. Unfortunately, this popularity among the guests caused great harm to the pond. Gradually, water lake formed by a glacier, overgrown plants and debris of human origin. Nearby you can take a look at the lake Maricheyka Nature Reserve Ivano-Frankivsk region.
