Museum electric
Opening of the Museum of electric in 1992 in Kiev was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Kiev tram. Initially, the museum was located in the territory of electric transport plant, but after its closure in 2012, moved to Darnytske tram depot. It demonstrates the samples worn trams, trolleybuses and buses of different models and model years and even a rare horse-drawn tram in 1891.
The exhibition is a photo, books, model trams, a set of tickets for travel on public transport different periods, the first portraits motormen who wore suits with butterflies and even a genuine control panel of modern car "Tatra". On one wall hangs a large map of Ukraine, and on it are ticked settlements, which operated electric vehicles.
Particularly impressive three dioramas depicting different stages of development of Kyiv Electric: "The Beginning" ("Alexander`s descent", 1892), "The War Years" (1941-1945.) "Kiev today."
