Holy Trinity Church, Brody

City Brody , who is in the north-east of Lviv, known for many attractions. One of these is the church of the Holy Trinity. Outwardly, it hardly differs from the typical tridilnoy architecture of Galicia, but the uniqueness of different iconostasis immediately allocate it among the other buildings.

The history of the Church of the Holy Trinity

Holy Trinity Church was built back in 1744, it has experienced in its history, not a restoration. The main altar with a unique icon of the Holy Trinity was erected in 1829. Since the 1960s, the church rebuilt at the club. In 1994, the church held a new reconstruction. Inside and outside of it restored by the project author B. Kindzelskogo. According to his idea set a new iconostasis with the individual elements of the old (18th century). At this point the church considered the Greek-Catholic church.

In the courtyard next to the church, the bell tower is located, presented in the same wooden style. Simple and at the same time quite unique architecture focuses on the Ukrainian national culture. The atmosphere keeps the church, the mood and spirit of the experienced events. Small in size but enormous spaciousness of deep history, she kindly share their treasures with every parishioner.
