Historical Museum, Vyshgorod

Historical Museum - the new museum Vyshgorodskiy reserve . It is located in the upper part of the city, on the ground floor of an ordinary apartment building near the center of pottery.

The exposition of the museum displays the history of Vyshgorodskiy edge from Paleolithic times to the Soviet period. The collection consists of items of daily use time of Kievan Rus: cufflinks, spindles, jewelry, coins and the like. Also in the museum you can see the layout of the ancient Visegrad, the time of Princess Olga, see a copy of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God. The original of this icon was taken from the Upper Town in the 12th century Andrew Bogolyubsky.

Despite the fact that the museum was opened relatively recently in 2009, history buffs will be very interesting to look at the exposition and take home something new.
