State Landscape Reserve "Sredneseymsky"

Not far from the village of boyars recumbent is the state landscape reserve "Sredneseymsky." Near the mouth of the river Sejm preserved floodplain hardwood forest reserve occupy the rest of the meadow plants and numerous lakes.
Wildlife sanctuary rich in beautiful landscapes, rare plants and animals. The average age of the trees growing here 60 years. This oak with a broad crown, and trembling aspen, ash and beautiful, but also linden, elm and maple. Also in the forest are many hazel bushes and small, not counting the usual inhabitants of the undergrowth, beavers also live here and mute swans. The reserve is also interesting that it lives, is listed as endangered, common muskrat and grow some plant species from the same book.
As one of the most valuable natural protected places of Sumy region, it is considered prospective for natural reserve. Perhaps in the near future there will be National Park.
