Zhytomyr Hall (former council building)

Zhitomir   - A city with more than a thousand years of history. He can tell a lot interest tourists or his guest. One of his name carries a lot of mysteries. Someone says that it came from the name of ears growing in local fields. And some believe that was the name of the founder of the city.

On the street or at the Cathedral   Castle Hill in 1789, was built with a height of two storeys. Originally it housed the city magistrate.

The construction in the style of Neo-Renaissance, stands out from the rest of the buildings in the city severity of lines and elegant shapes. The Town Hall was badly damaged by bombing during the Second World War, but was restored to its completion. Since the second half of the 20th century, the building housed the apartment.

For now   Hall is an architectural monument.
