Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Architecture Catholic churches differs unusual design, which is widespread among the buildings of 19-20 centuries. One of the churches that were built in the style of Romanesque churches, basilicas, and is the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was built in 1901. Temple has experienced a lot of events: the closure during the Soviet era, the years of service as a gymnasium schools and universities. It was only after a long restoration in 1994 the church was again open to the faithful of the Catholic community.

The building of the church is made of red brick and decorated with lots of small decorative turrets.   The building`s architecture is represented by the elements of Gothic and Romanesque style. In the courtyard of the temple there is a small statue of the Virgin Mary.

On the territory of the architectural complex of cultural events: an exhibition of ice sculptures in the yard in winter, monthly art exhibitions and photo art.
