Temple St. Joseph the Betrothed, Mechebilovo

Temple St. Joseph in the village Mechebilovo Kharkiv region was built in 1817. White stone building with a minimum of gilding and the lack of architectural elements of luxury harmoniously blended into the local area. The temple is made in the classic style.
The emergence of the church contributed to the landowner F. dolls Yasnopolskoy. Bezpalchevyh family makes a donation to the temple, thereby helped the church to purchase their individual beauty.
Like many other churches, this shrine was ruined in the fire of revolution and closed by Soviet power, namely, during the Great Patriotic War. During the fighting in the premises of the temple were wounded soldiers. In memory of a difficult period at the church is a monument to Soviet soldiers.
