This is the central part of Dnepropetrovsk, surrounded by architectural monuments, historical memorials ( Sevastopol park , Square Volodya Dubinin ) and outstanding universities in the city.

Location shooting

In October 1941, after the capture of the city by the German occupiers near the central square were collected Jewish families with children of different ages. Mass graves were found in the courtyard of a school in the Avenue of Karl Marx , as well as in the hills near the Tikhvin Monastery . During the occupation, there were discontinued church services, but rebuilt in the late 20th century. Now it is a beautiful place with a great history dating back to the 1860s.
