The history of the experimental Centre for Contemporary Art

The head of the center and concurrently supervisor organization "Laboratory contemporary art" is Alexander Nikitiuk. The idea of ​​creating a stationary platform for exhibitions, meetings and presentations of works of contemporary art in the air for a long time, but failed to implement it only in 2012. Then A. Nikitiuk offered cooperation shopping centers "MagiTsentr," they agreed, as they became available with an area of ​​about 100 m², and it can not be used. As a result, it was transferred to the Centre for Contemporary Art, without any rent. Now there are various exhibitions featuring works of young and talented artists from all over Ukraine and other countries. An important factor is that the shopping center is located at the intersection of two major streets, and there are always a lot of people. Thus, visitors to the new non-profit institution will be a lot, which means that cultural life will be further developed.

General information

When the building was transferred to the use of the Center for Contemporary Art, one of the first exhibitions in this building was a project of "Glamour", which in itself was interesting. The opening of the center coincided with the start of the winter festival of land art "Mifogenez", which takes place in the international format. He is also the organizer of A. Nikitiuk. It is worth noting that almost all of the exhibition at the Centre for Contemporary Art, and free to visit them all interested persons.
