Palace Lange

Palace Lange

The village Napadovka one time belonged to the landowner Prilutsky that in the second half of the 18th century erected on its territory of the palace and broke around the park. The farmstead is located in the north-eastern part of the village.

Later the estate passed into the hands of Yu Strutinskii. Under the leadership of new owner of the estate was rebuilt. Former housing landlord was converted into the lodge, and nearby built a new palace. The brick building, whose height was only one floor, is a model of mature classicism.

The main facade of a rectangular palace is equipped with a portico supported by six columns and decorated with stucco. From the park there is another portico with eight columns and triangular pediment. Rooms are located on either side of the palace, the center of which is an oval room decorated with stucco on ancient themes.

At the turn of 19-20 centuries in the house he lived a Danish scientist, Consul of the Kingdom of Denmark, Thor Lange, whose name is still called the Palace. He studied the Ukrainian customs and creativity, folk songs translated into Danish. Of interest is his translation of the "Lay."

During Soviet times, the estate was a school. Today the building is dilapidated and destroyed. Well preserved gates, swimming pool, old house, the park and the palace.
