Church of St. Nicholas, Pulmo

Church of St. Nicholas - a unique historical monument in the village of Pulmo. Its existence is mentioned in archival documents even 1500s. Since then, the building was rebuilt several times, was transferred to a new place, but continued to operate until the present day. The current condition of the building can be called perfect. The temple was restored in the 2000s under the leadership of the priest Alexander Cherevko. During his ministry changed the appearance of the courtyard of the church, neat flower beds were planted with avenues, upgraded interior and an overhaul of the domes of the temple and replaced the wooden facade on modern plastic lining.

The history of the church of St. Nicholas

For the first time a priest Vasilije temple of St. Nicholas in Pulmo is mentioned in documents in 1534, then his name occurs in the context of the judgment between two local landowners. It is known that the original church building was located across the street from the modern construction.
