Church of the Purification, Zalesoche

Zalesoche Sretenskaya church Volyn region has honorary status of an architectural monument of national importance. It was built in the second half of the 18th century and preserved to this day in perfect condition.

History of Candlemas Church in Zalesoche

Named in honor of the Presentation of the Lord, Zalesochenskaya church was erected in 1784. The architectural style is defined as the late Ukrainian Baroque. The church has preserved the unique moldings on the facade, mural, partially restored in the 20th century, as well as the continued planning of niches and baths.

What to see in the Sretensky church

The main attraction of the ancient temple is considered art painting by local artists. It describes the biblical events with Christian saints.

On one of the outer walls of the facade saved a drawing of Christ. Apply gilding and other items of applied art.

How to reach the church

The village is located in the territorial Zalesoche center between Rivne and Lutsk. The closest point to the residential Zalesochyu Olyka be called a village. There is a river Putilivka, and the church itself is located close to the highway, which facilitates the search path for tourists.
