Monument to the teacher, Zhitomir

In the city of Zhitomir , who is one of the regional centers of Ukraine, we decided to perpetuate the work of teachers, and built a monument to the first teacher. The sculpture is a granite pedestal school to read.

At the base there is a small plate, which depicts a teacher in national embroidery, opened her arms over her two children: a boy and a girl. It is students going on the first ring. In the hands of the girl`s backpack and a bouquet of flowers boy holds a briefcase and a bell. For the teacher has two arms outstretched, letting swans. It is a symbol of high school graduates. At the foot of the sculpture revealed a tutorial on the first page of which was written thanks from the students first teacher.

The monument was opened in 2006 and located in the territory of Zhytomyr State University.
