History of creation

The house was built at the expense of the entrepreneur Kharitonenko. After the completion of the building was donated to the Faith Kharitonenko wife patron. She ordered that the best way to present. In 1873, the first women`s gymnasium was opened here.

Studied here not only girls from rich families. The right to receive training received, many orphaned girls who excelled in school. These children were given free training. Grammar school operated until the October Revolution. In subsequent years, it housed various administrative offices and headquarters.
