The mill is located on the River Mountain Tikich. The landscapes of these places are very different from ordinary Ukrainian. Rocky shores projections form the canyon. Stones densely overgrown greenery. All this is more like a cold fjords of Scandinavia.

Downstream, near Bukskoy HPS, you will find the ruins of a water mill. The stone walls of the building fragments sometimes completely absorbed by plants. History of the watermill

The mill was built in the mid 19th century. Exactly who and when it is built is not known. According to one version, the mill belonged to a local noble family. But the building itself is left at the mercy of the wind, sun, water and vandals.

How to get to the mill beeches

From the bus station in Cherkassy travel regularly buses and taxis in different directions through the village of Buki. Then follow the signs, you can walk to the river Mountain Tikich.
