State Historical and Cultural Reserve "Bush"

The village Bush Vinnytsia region is a unique reminder of nature and archeology. This Historical and Cultural Reserve "Bush", an area of ​​about seven acres. Archaeological finds in the area indicate the existence of Stone Age settlements. Here are concentrated archaeological monuments dating from 3-7 millennia BC. Adjacent to the reserve land generously dotted with historical monuments belonging to Trypil'ska and Bug-Dniester culture.

The most tragic period during the existence of the castle began during the liberation war of independence of the Ukrainian people, led by Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky. After these heroic battles city Bush has practically disappeared from the face of the earth and only a century later began to recover. About the fortress, which played in the defense of the city of key importance today only reminds castle tower, which stands firmly in place a formidable stronghold. In 1756, the former castle was built St. Michael's Church, which was located in the bell tower preserved castle tower.

Since 1986, Bush held annually Arts Festival "Podolsky Beach", which attracts a lot of talented sculptors. Here you will see wonderful their work.

Nearby, on the outskirts of the village of Bush, is the tract "Haidamak yar." Since 1975, the tract announced geological reserve. Its area is 96 hectares. "Haidamak Yar" is a picturesque valley, which was formed by prolonged washout small local river waters Bushinki. In its vicinity were found the remains unique Tripoli culture. Moreover, in these areas, according to historians, was located base Gaydamak, who led the centurion Uman Gaunt. Visit this historic picturesque place!
