Instead of looking for something exact we concentrate on useless information. But to organise a good vocation you should ask yourself only one simple question: what do you expect from your summer rest? For a vacation alone with nature

Umbria is an Italian region famous for its cultural heritage and fantastic landscapes. You can see here ancient abbeys and churches, medieval castles and fortresses, deep canyons and endless green hills. A great number of sacred ancient shrines built during the times of the Etruscans and the Romans have been preserved here. Cascada delle Marmore, one of the largest European falls, is considered to be the symbol of Umbria. Marmore’s Waterfall is 165 meters high. Ten mountain peaks including Monte Vettore, which is the main one in Italy, are situated there.

For foodies

Copenhagen, the Dutch capital, has long been famous among tourists as one of European centres of culture. Copenhagen is home to the restaurant Noma, which was awarded as the best European restaurant twice in the past two years. You’ll be offered a great number of Scandinavian dishes here. The restaurant is special for its unique cooking conception. The products grown in eco-friendly Scandinavian regions are used in this restaurant. Devon is a county in the south-western part of England. Here they keep traditions of the classical Devon wrestling. But the favourite sport game of the citizens here is rugby. It is played by boys in the yard as well as by professional players at huge stadiums. Besides, speedway is highly developed too. Those who want to try it can rent a bike here.

For those who like adventures 

Far away from large resorts, in the eastern part of the Canary Islands, Lanzarote Island is located. It is one of the most mysterious and unusual islands in this archipelago. The majority of the island’s area is covered with clinker. It is a unique combination of wild volcanic landscapes, discreet modern architecture and green vineyards with stone planes. The island seems to be almost untouched by civilization.

If you prefer traditional rest

Sicily is a real paradise island, which has kept its pristine beauty. It has everything for a perfect rest – endless beaches, luxury hotels, expensive restaurants, lovely bays and magnificent mountains. Having immersed into blissful idleness don't forget to visit the Temple Valley in Agrigento and to enjoy Neapolis Archaeological Park in Siracusa. A spectacular way to finish your vacation is to climb Mount Etna, which is the highest active stratovolcano in Europe.

Biarritz is a quiet town in the south-west of France, it is washed by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The sea bottom has a unique shape here, so huge waves constantly appear here. This feature made the town a beloved destination for most surfers. Couples come to this part of France to spend their time here, to have a quiet rest and to surf the waves. In spite of the small territory occupied by the country, it can make boast of the variety of its landscapes: form the snowy Alps to rushing rivers and waterfalls and the tender Adriatic Sea. Slovenia is rich in thermal springs, as a result the country is full of different medical and recreational resorts. For art lovers

San Sebastián is the most fashionable Spanish resort. It’s often called a “small Paris” for the architectural style brought from the French capital. San Francisco is not just a beautiful city, it is a city-landmark. Being the biggest Californian city, it consists of quite different districts. The city is situated in a wonderful place where the Pacific Ocean meets the shore and forms San Francisco Bay. One of its main attractions is Hills of San Francisco, there are more than 50 of them. They open a wonderful view of the city and its bay. Central districts are considered to be the biggest and most developed ones. The largest shopping malls, luxury boutiques, entertaining centres, night clubs, bars and restaurants are located here.
