International festival of traditional culture "EtnoSvit", Kyiv, Kyiv
From 15 to 17 May for Europe Day in Art Arsenal held the first international festival of traditional culture "EtnoSvit", in which will be presented a special platform "EtnoYevropa."
200 artists from Ukraine and the world will present their traditional crafts and technologies, revealing secrets of creating authentic handmade artistic masterpieces.
Among the guests of the festival representatives of countries such as France, Greece, Belarus, Lithuania, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Turkey and others.
The program of the festival:
- Fair of traditional crafts;
- exhibition of unique collections of ceramics National Historical and Cultural Reserve "Chigirin" and the National Museum of Ukrainian Pottery in Opishne;
- Ukrainian exhibition of ancient musical instruments;
- special music program of the Kyiv kobza guild;
- children`s room (traditional games, fun, master classes);
- Traditional cuisine from around the world and fragrant Cossack porridge;
- performances by folk bands;
- workshops of traditional dances Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus, Lithuania;
- Fair literature about the culture and traditions;
- show films about the missing and living traditions, people, life and crafts from around the world.

- painting on glass;
- weaving from maize;
- modeling clay;
- paper decorations;

International festival of traditional culture "EtnoSvit" for the first time, but intends to be an annual forum that will gather in the capital of Ukraine creative people from different countries to mutual knowledge, establishing cultural ties between nations and promote the image of Ukraine in the world. Knowing the culture of other nations, we deeply know their native culture

Price:
- general entrance fee - 40 UAH;
- preferential ticket - 20 UAH;
- free admission for children under 12 years, disabled groups 1-2, conscripts, participants ATO, museum workers, members of the Union of Artists (if certificate).
