Alfa Jazz Fest 2016, Lviv, L'viv
In late June, is expected to sixth international festival «Alfa Jazz Fest 2016" in Lviv. Jazz cocktail international scale will gather in the open-air summer best jazz performers. This is a unique opportunity to spend a wonderful weekend in a beautiful city, full of musical events.
Last year, the musicians performed concerts in three different places of Lviv, which were organized wide open scene. This year is expected to scale equally grand event. One of the main course will be the scene in the city center.
Venue: the stage name Eddie Rosner in central park named after B. Khmelnitsky, Potocki Palace , Market Square , Lviv.
Date: will be held from 24 to 27 June 2016.
Cost: Admission is free, seats in the stalls - for tickets. Last year, ticket prices ranged from 400 to 2500 UAH.
Programme Jazz Festival
This year is expected extraordinary jazz cocktail known performers in the world. Guests will be pleased:
- American jazz singer Esperanza kontrabasystka and Spalding, who will speak on June 26;
- virtuoso pianist Peter Martin, who will visit Ukraine for the first time in the festival;
- known jazz singer Diane Reeves, who will perform with his program on June 26;
- Branford Marsalis Quartet and special guest of Kurt Jelling, which will see on stage on June 25;
- on stage on June 24 will act as the owner of 20 awards «Grammy» Pat Metheny, who concert in Lviv will start a new round of Europe;
- holder of 10 awards «Grammy» Arturo Sandoval will give a concert on 25 June.
And that`s not all musicians.
Weekend promises to be interesting and rich jazz modulations with a wonderful atmosphere.
