National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine "Pirohovo" invites everyone from 1 to 2 March 2014 on a spectacular and colorful festivities - Shrove Tuesday in "Pirogovo".

Visitors to the museum will be able to clearly see the ancient rite Kolodija during which unmarried girls and unmarried guys tied to a wooden block feet as a sign of conviction or punishment for what they have not yet been sealed their fate legal relations.

On the Singing Field offers a variety of folk fun: tug of war competition on the balance beam, sledding and horseback riding, as well as children's favorite fun - ice fortress with snowballs!

The culmination of the festival will be the traditional burning straw effigy symbolizing deliverance from all adversity.
