Volovetsky (Beskidy, Skotarske) Pass

Volovets Pass - one of the most beautiful places that can be seen in the Carpathians. It is also called Bieszczady or ranching. It goes through Dividing Range on the border of Lviv and Zakarpattia regions.

What to see in Volovets Pass

Pass height reaches 1014 meters above sea level. Located on the watershed of rivers resistance Veche and near settlements Skotarske and Oporets . On the southern side of the pass slope is steep, but still covered with vegetation. From the north slopes are gentle and uniform, making the climb to the summit of travelers easier.

The feature Volovetskogo pass was the iron path that runs through the pass. Part of the road to Lavochne Volovtsa has two interesting features:

• Bieszczady tunnel;
• Volovetskyi loop.

Getting there
