The Mykhailo Hrushevs'kyi Historical and Memorial Museum

One of the most interesting places in Kiev is a museum Hrushevsky - the first president of the UPR. At the beginning of the last century, the house in which the family lived Hrushevskoho was very popular. There were social events, going to well-known figures of culture and science. Even in our time every detail, as an integral part of the memorial house was restored. All lost objects were recovered from photographs or preserved specimens.

Modern museum was opened in 1999, has a collection of 5,000 items. Here you can see a unique collection of photographs Hrushevsky and his family, almost all the photos came to us in a single copy. The museum kept the original letters of family members and other prominent figures of Ukrainian science and art, the work of the scientist, the publication under his editorship, books from his personal library. The pearl of the meeting is a portrait of his daughter Hrushevskoho - Catherine.
