Monument to Ukrainian public figure, publicist, writer and priest Markiyan Shashkevych Lvov erected in 1990. During his short life Shashkevich managed to leave a significant mark in the history of Ukrainian culture. In his works, educator Democrat repeatedly praised and advocated the unity of the Ukrainian people.
On the street Copernicus, near the museum "Mermaid Transnistria" , and placed a monument to the writer. The monument is made of quite valuable rocks - granite and labradorite, and around it is surrounded by flower beds that fit harmoniously into the surrounding landscape.
