House civilized Poltava governor
House civilized Poltava governor built in 1811, according to the project developed by St. Petersburg architect A. Zakharov in the style of Russian classicism province. The building is U-shaped in plan, three-storey house (two floors and basement) and side single storey wings connected by a brick fence, which has walkways and driveways.
Appearance of the structure corresponds to the style of the architectural ensemble. The main facade is decorated with six-columned portico of the Tuscan order, relying on the exposed basement. Above the portico of the building is decorated with horizontal attic.
During the Great Patriotic War, in 1943 the building was destroyed. In the years 1954 -1956 gutted redevelopment, designed by architects IL Shmulsona and VS Yavnikova.
Now located in the building management to combat crime AMIA in Poltava region.
