Monument to Prince Vorontsov

Monument to Prince Vorontsov is included in the list of the main attractions of Odessa . It is located   on the Cathedral Square of the city.   Not far from the monument is the Transfiguration Cathedral , where the remains of His Serene Highness Prince.

Created a monument to the great Novorossiysk and Bessarabian Governor-General in 1863. The statue was cast in Germany under the strict control of the ambassador. Sculptor made one of the most famous masters of Europe -   Friedrich Brugger. A bronze statue stands on a pedestal. Powerful image of Prince dominates the town. He looks into the distance, carefully keeping in the hands of his robe. Decorated   monument three bas-reliefs.
